Our world is full of amusing and fascinating things including human body. While you are aware that once boys reach their puberty, they have physical and hormonal changes in their body. A boy from India started to have a tail growing on him after he reached of 14. This was a case of one of its kind and shocked the scientists as this was pretty unusual. This boy was had a tail as long as 8 inches and it was apparently longest human tail.

Although the tail felt harmless, however boy found that it was uncomfortable for him while sitting. Apart from this, there were concerns that what if his classmates found out about it. For the doctors, the tail was not medically dangerous however it would be better to remove it. The doctors were concerned about this unnatural growth and why it occurred like this.

It was felt that this tail might have grown due to genetic mutation that was present in the mother’s womb but this appeared at his puberty. The family decided to remain anonymous in order to avoid negative remarks from people.

But this was not the first time that something like this occurred. Earlier a boy named Malaji from north-western India too had a similar tail at the age of 13. In his village, due to his tail, the boy was considered as a holy being. If the tail is harmless and not uneasy for the person having it, then there is no harm in keeping it, however if required removing it surgically is better option.
